Dear ISM affilliate officer:

I'm Tony Wai, current president of ISM-China.   We are one of the new ISM affiiates started in 2008 with over 200 members and growing.   Core board members of ISM-China include supply management executives from HomeDepot, BP, Alcoa, IBM, Invista, Delphi and Tyco.    As you know, China is now strategic to most of the global sourcing community and we wish to make the connection bridging China to the world from a professional prospective.

This year's conference will be on Sept 20th, 2009 in Shanghai China, focusing on "China Advantage in Sustaining Global Supply Chain Value", and will feature keynote speech from John Pateron, CPO of IBM Corp. and speakers from McKinsey, Eaton, and others high profile leaders.   There will also be lots of interactive discussion and panel sessions to establish conversations.   Official language of this conference will be English.
