Energy Purchasing Mistakes Back in November Scott Schultz and
Danny Jackson spoke to the group on Reverse Auction for Electricity.
TJ Ermoian came as a guest with John Merkh, and on his survey he commented
that he would like to address the group about a different strategy for
purchasing electricity. “I bet you thought I never read the
surveys”. Note: the day and time for this
meeting are different from our usual time. We are going to try lunch
time meetings from now on and see if the time will work better for more

BIO: TJ
Ermoian (er-MOY-n) is a PUC-licensed electricity aggregator. He is
President of Waco-based Texas Energy Aggregation. He worked with American
Solar King in the early ‘80’s when it was the world’s largest provider of
alternative energy products, and founded Texas Energy in 2002 shortly
after Texas dereg began. He now serves as an energy consultant and
contract manager for about 400 commercial clients in 3 states. TEA has
negotiated over 1000 energy contracts for clients including cities,
counties, school districts and utility companies with contract values over
$1 billion. Mr.
Ermoian has lived in Waco since 1975 and was educated at Midway High
School, Baylor, MCC, and TSTC, but says he received his best education as
a parent, and by attempting and failing in at least 4 other
entrepreneurial ventures. He is an accomplished artist, published writer,
performing songwriter, and along with his 2 brothers, was co-producer
Waco’s first national TV series, Texas Music Café. His wife
is Sandy Ermoian, and they have 5 mostly-grown children and live in China
Spring.
