Dean for Faculty Development and College Initiatives
Biography Grinols
brings a wealth of experience to Baylor Business. Most recently, Grinols
taught Management Communication and Critical Thinking in Business in the
MBA and EMBA programs and directed the Management Communication Center in
the Business College at the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign.
Grinols also brings experience from her positions in banking, marketing,
and not-for- profit organizations. Some of those positions were Loan
Officer and Supervisor for the Master Charge department at the Valley
National Bank (now Bank One) in Tucson, Arizona; Marketing Director for
Bully Hill Vineyards in Hammondsport, New York; and Executive Director of
the American Cancer Society for Tompkins County, New York.
Grinols
pursued doctorate work at Cornell University in Business Administration.
She earned her CBA from the University of Illinois, Urbana, IL in 1998; an
MS in Education from Elmira College in 1976; and her BA in English from
Dickinson College in 1968. Her publications include a textbook and
software: Critical Thinking: Reading and Writing Across the Curriculum and
she has presented extensively in the areas of critical thinking and
