Attendance has been strong at both sites

Class began meeting in January and will meet each Monday for the remainder of June
Approximately 16 NAPM-Central Texas members are studying for the C.P .M. exams
Tom Kinman, Raytheon Principal SCA, has recently passed all four exams
Most attendees plan to complete the tests in 2001.

Helped start the Central Texas Procurement Conference--an e-Procurement Conference for Small Businesses
The 1st conference was a success and the 2nd one is scheduled for October 10, 2001
Organized a local M\WBDG Group as part of NAPM-Central Texas (we are 1 out 8 NAPM affiliates to do this)
Received an Advocate Award from the Small Business Administration in May, 2001
Received the Advocate Award from Raytheon Aircraft Integration Systems in May, 2001
Received an Advocate Award from Raytheon Corporate Supplier Diversity program in June, 2001
