Bob Nahabit, is an educator, public speaker, expert witness, author and consultant specializing in training of purchasing. He is the former Purchasing Manager for United Technologies Lexar and Pacesetter Systems, Inc. In 1981 he established Nahabit & Associates, Inc. and in 1991 his firm became the national leader in training purchasing professional. His firm was founded in California and is now headquartered in Austin, Tx. He is an active member and sits on the Board of Directors of the National Association of Purchasing Management - Austin, Tx. He has written numerous articles on the subject of purchasing and electronics. The National Association of Purchasing Management, N.A.P.M., recognized and certified bob as a Certified Purchasing Manager in 1975 and named him Professional Development Person of the Year for District 13.
